SLURSE:  After spending much of my life riding on the back of a Harley, starting with my Dad's 65 Electra-Glide, I decided to get my own in 2004.  Until recently I rode a 2002 burgundy Softail Standard.  I've logged about 9000 miles in the almost  2 years since I've vacated my husbands back seat.  I've ridden with the group to VT for the Killington Classic, been down to Washington DC for "Rolling Thunder", which we've made our annual road trip for the past few years, and up to tour Nova Scotia.  In Jan 06 I  traded my Standard for a 2005 Black Cherry Softail Deluxe.   I'm an 8 year Navy Veteran and I'm now a CPT in the Army Reserve Nurse Corps and a full time RN with the VA Healthcare System.  I couldn't imagine not being a Freedom Rider which is simply the best group of friends and Veterans that you could hope to ride with.   My friends who don't ride can't understand why I get excited about receiving Harley chrome for gifts when they're getting jewelry!
As my husband HUSKER say's "you either get it or you don't."
